Downdetector reports outages at multiple services
Yahoo Finance’s Dan Howley breaks down the companies facing outages today.

ZACK GUZMAN: But first, I want to highlight another story we've been watching here in the afternoon, including some outages at a few different companies here. Downdetector reporting outages in a lot of companies, including our parent company and Verizon. For more on that, I want to get to Yahoo Finance's Dan Howley, who has the details on that. Dan.
DAN HOWLEY: Yeah, obviously, we're seeing outages here on the East Coast of the US. Downdetector showing that that spreads from as far south as Virginia all the way up to Boston. And it's impacting companies ranging from Amazon and its AWS to Verizon, our parent company, as well as some of the stalwarts for the work-from-home environment. Those include Slack, Gmail, Zoom, as well as others. So this is a big hit to a lot of workers who are forced to stay from home-- work from home, rather-- as a result of the pandemic.
