Downed tree shut down part of Mt. Royal Boulevard, left hundreds without power

Part of Mt. Royal Boulevard in Hampton was shut down after a tree fell down onto the roadway late Tuesday night.

It happened at the intersection of Trotter Drive around 11:20 p.m.

Mt. Royal Boulevard was blocked off at the intersection of Duncan Avenue.

At one point, over 1,000 people in Hampton were without power.
