Satellite imagery released by Maxar Technologies on June 7 captured the aftermath of the collapse of the Nova Kakhovka dam, in Ukraine’s Kherson Oblast, and the widespread flooding along downstream villages and towns.

Media, citing officials, reported at least 4,000 people had been evacuated from both the Russian and Ukrainian-controlled sides of the river.
