'Downton Abbey' Castle Is Listed On Airbnb So Fans Can Live The Lord And Lady Life

The castle from the hit BBC series "Downton Abbey" is up for rent. Well, sort of.

Fans of the show can rent out one of the estates 300 rooms for 150 Euros. During the stay, guests will be able to explore much of 100,000 square foot Highclere Castle.

The Airbnb listing from Lady Carnarvon, who is the Countess of the estate, detailed the opportunity:

During your stay, you will enjoy an exclusive evening drinking cocktails in the Saloon followed by a traditional dinner with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon in the State Dining Room, being waited on by Highclere Castle’s own butler. After dinner, coffee will be served in the Library before you retire to one of the Gallery bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom and views over 1,000 acres of rolling parkland.

In the morning, there will be a breakfast before guests are given a tour of the grounds.

Reservation signups will go live on October 1. Only applicants with a verified Airbnb profile and positive reviews will be considered. This is a one-night-only opportunity, with the stay happening on November 26.

And for fans who want to see a glimpse of the castle before then, the Downton Abbey movie is being released in theaters nationwide this Friday.
