Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens joins Solar Opposites in voice recasting

Solar Opposites season 4 has found its new Korvo following voice actor and producer Justin Roiland's dismissal.
It has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that Dan Stevens - best known for his time on Downton Abbey as Matthew Crawley - has landed the role.
In January, the Rick and Morty creator's association with Hulu and 20th Century Television officially ended in light of domestic violence charges, of which an Orange County District Attorney ultimately cited insufficient evidence.

Season 4 of the animated sci-fi sitcom premieres August 14 on streaming service Hulu, while a special Valentine's Day release is scheduled for next year.
Producer Sydney Ryan told to Digital Spy that the fourth installment will unravel as a "fun office comedy" following the events of season 3.
He teased: "It's like the ultimate sacrifice that these aliens are making for their families. They're making themselves miserable, and now we get to write a fun office comedy about how much they're going to screw it up."
In other news, Solar-Opposites star Mary Mack, who voices Jesse on the show, exclusively told Digital Spy that the show's popularity has resulted in some surprising fan encounters.
"I've been getting voice-recognised in airports," she laughed. "And then people come up to me, really embarrassed. 'Hey, this is a really weird question'. And I'm like, 'It's not that weird!'

"They're like, 'But are you on Solar Opposites?' I'm like, 'Yes! Thank you!' I'm so happy about it.
"I'm so happy someone's watching it. And then we'll do pictures in the airport or wherever. And I think it's so fun.
She added: "My voice had always held me back until I started doing cartoons, and I was like, 'Finally. All this suffering has paid off.'"
Solar Opposites plays on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
