The holiday season is upon us and the annual Athens Parade of Lights is approaching.

The 2023 parade, which is themed "An Art Filled Holiday," will take place Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

The parade concludes with Santa Claus lighting the Christmas tree in front of City Hall.

According to the Athens-Clarke County website, the parade is a “rain or shine” event, however if weather is severe enough to be a safety issue, it may be cancelled.

Where can I park for the Parade of Lights?
