Downtown Lansing shooting victim dies from injuries

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The victim who was shot in Downtown Lansing last week Wednesday has died from his injuries.

The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Christopher Stipanuk. The Lansing Police Department says they arrested a 37-year-old man in connection to Stipanuk’s murder.

Suspect from Friday shooting in Eaton County arrested

The Lansing Police Department was called to the 400 block of Sycamore St. and Shiawasee on April 10, 2024, and reported a male was shot in the leg around 3 p.m. and was transferred to a local hospital for ‘serious injuries’.
