Downtown Pittsburgh Rite Aid robbed at knife-point

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy in downtown Pittsburgh.

Police say the robbery happened at the Rite Aid on Forbes Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

They say a man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask threatened staff with a knife. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and Violent Crime Unit detectives are currently reviewing video evidence.
