Downtown Puyallup is getting a pet shop and self-wash pet spa. Here’s when it opens

A shop that caters to cat and dog parents is coming to Puyallup in June.

The owners of Firehouse Pet Shop at 203 W. Stewart expect to open their doors Monday, June 26. A grand opening event will happen sometime in July.

The shop will offer food, gourmet treats and supplements. There will also be toys, food and water bowls, as well as dog and cat beds. Plans to have a self-wash pet spa are in the works.

The prices of the products in the store range from a $2 toy to a $500 custom-made cat tree.

Co-owners Jodi Robinson-Cody and Lacey Welcher said they plan to carry “high-quality” items. They’ll also welcome any customer feedback and requests as soon as they’re open for business.
