Dozens of Baltimore students receive bicycles, learn about safety

Events around town ahead of the Maryland Cycling Classic took place Thursday. The Bike Jam is a series of family-friendly 1-mile bike rides that are open to all cyclists of all ages and led by Maryland Cycling Classic ambassadors, including Olympians and former professional bicyclists alongside some of the professional athletes who are slated to race Sunday. Earlier Thursday afternoon at James McHenry Elementary/Middle School, Maryland Cycling Classic partnered with United Healthcare to give away 50 bicycles to students during a visit to the school.
