Dozens of survivors, loved ones come to Sacramento for Joseph DeAngelo plea hearing
About 70 survivors and the loved ones of victims and survivors traveled from all over the country traveled to Sacramento for the plea hearing of Joseph DeAngelo, the man who confessed to being the East Area Rapist and the Golden State Killer. The Sacramento State ballroom, where the plea hearing was held, was packed with people who were directly impacted by DeAngelo's crimes.
