Video Transcript

- All month long, CBS4 is committed to bringing you stories about Black history. The Rosewood massacre of 1923 took place in Levy County, Florida. Today, historian Dr. Marvin Dunn brought that story to Barry University, the temporary home for the Arthur Lee McDuffie Center for Racial Justice.

MARVIN DUNN: The McDuffie Center exists to save and tell stories of race violence in Florida. We're not the only ones doing that, but we're committed to making sure that these stories are not lost.

- The center is also committed to working toward racial reconciliation and healing. For more on Black History Month, including videos, events, and slide shows, just go to CBSMiami.com/BlackHistory.
