Dr. Vicki Brown to speak at National Day of Prayer

Apr. 27—NORWALK — Local physician Dr. Vicki Brown will be the keynote speaker at this year's National Day of Prayer.

The event will begin with breakfast at 6:30 a.m., followed by the prayer service at 7 a.m. on May 4. The event will again be held at First Presbyterian Church in Norwalk.

The breakfast is provided by the FPC OutreachCommittee.

Dr. Brown's message will be "You can't always get what you want."

Dr. Brown is a Crawford County native and a fixture in the area. She and her husband, Dr. Chris Brown, have been providing medical care to the Willard community for almost 30 years.

Vicki is a "cradle Catholic" and is currently a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Norwalk where she serves as music minister. She and Chris have one daughter, Ally, who currently resides in Mishawaka, Ind., where she works as a mechanical engineer at Conn-Selmer, a musical instrument company.
