RuPaul's Drag Race has confirmed its guest judges for season 16 with a full-length trailer.

The latest season of the show's flagship American version will see 14 more queens join the ever-expanding pantheon of Drag Race contestants.

Hosted once more by RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Matthews, Carson Kressley and Ts Madison, the quintet will be joined by a flock of guest judges to critique the latest batch of queens stomping through the Werk Room doors and down the Main Stage.

As confirmed by the show's latest trailer, these guest stars include Charlize Theron, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Adam Shankman, Icona Pop (Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo), Isaac Mizrahi, Jamal Sims, Joel Kim Booster, Kaia Gerber, Kelsea Ballerini, Kyra Sedgwick, Law Roach, Mayan Lopez and Ronan Farrow.

As the Buffy: The Vampire Slayer star tells Ru in the season's trailer: "I've been slaying b*tches forever."

Along with fabulous guest judges, the season's first full-length trailer has teased gag-worthy twists.

As Ru tells her queens, immunity is returning for at least one challenge, meaning that the winning queen of a week's Maxi Challenge will not be eliminated the following week; this aspect of Drag Race was last seen in season five, in 2013.

And that's not all. After the traditional talent show Maxi Challenge in the season's premiere, RuPaul will not be selecting the week's winner or loser – that responsibility falls to the contestants in the 'Rate-A-Queen' twist in the second instalment of the two-part event.

"I will not be judging you," a voiceover by Ru says. "Instead, you'll be judging each other."

The 14 queens competing to join Sasha Colby, Willow Pill, Symone and more in the Hall of Fame as America's Next Drag Superstar (and win $200,000) are as follows:

Amanda Tori Meating (Los Angeles, CA), Dawn (Brooklyn, NY), Geneva Karr (Brownsville, TX), Hershii Liqcour-Jeté (Los Angeles, CA), Megami (Brooklyn, NY), Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige (Miami, FL), Mirage (Las Vegas, NV), Morphine Love Dion (Miami, FL), Nymphia Wind (Taiwan/NY), Plane Jane (Boston, MA), Plasma (New York, NY), Q (Kansas City, MO), Sapphira Cristál (Philadelphia, PA), and Xunami Muse (New York, NY).

RuPaul's Drag Race season 16 will show its two-part premiere on WOW Presents Plus on Saturday, January 6 and Saturday, January 13.
