Korean American drag queen and television personality Kim Chi (Shin Sang-young) is apparently ready to lend a helping hand to K-pop girl group LOONA.

Ding ding dong: LOONA fans, also known as Orbits, recently trumpeted the call to save the 12-member act on social media after reports of a serious financial crisis plaguing the group’s talent agency emerged, NextShark previously reported.

  • Following the news that it owes employees and contractors seven months of payments, entertainment agency BlockBerry Creative said it is exerting all efforts to pay its financial obligations. Observers, however, are not convinced that the company will be able to do so.

  • Worried about their idols’ careers, the fans even reached out to Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on social media to ask him to help fund and save the 12-member girl group.

  • Musk had previously given the group a shout-out in a tweet back in 2018. During the time, his then-partner Grimes was featured on LOONA subunit yyxy’s track “love4eva.”

  • The online pleas, however, seem to have gone unnoticed as the billionaire has yet to publicly respond to them.

You and me together: Kim Chi, who rose to fame following her runner-up finish on Season 8 of “RuPaul's Drag Race,” has stepped up to offer help to the girl group.

  • In a tweet addressed to LOONA on Friday, Kim Chi asked them to respond to her emails, noting that she might be able to help them.

  • Kim Chi’s tweet has since earned overwhelming attention and support from the Orbits.

  • Fans are now urging the group to respond to Kim Chi’s emails.

  • Some called upon BlockBerry Creative to do something about it as well.

  • Others are just hoping that everything turns out well for the group.

  • Finally, as some fans pointed out, Kim Chi has always been a LOONA stan.
