We’re officially entering the endgame era of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 following this season’s sixth episode. The competition has narrowed down to a top six that consists of Alexis Michelle, Jessica Wild, Jimbo, Kahanna Montrese, Kandy Muse, and LaLa Ri.

An interesting thing about this season is how completely mixed up the queens’ track records have been. While one queen has multiple challenge wins and leads the pack with a comfortable distance, we have other challenge winners who have been landing in the bottom, as well as queens who have been safe all season long – no wins, but no bottom placements, either. Overall, it’s been pretty tricky to judge this group by comparing their track records. There’s also the risk that a frontrunner could land in the bottom and get sent home immediately if we are to believe that these queens are indeed playing a Survivor-like game.

With that in mind, it’s time for our weekly power ranking of All Stars 8 based on what we’ve seen in the first six episodes of the season.

Scroll through to check out our episode six power ranking of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 – and tune in to watch new episodes of the show every Friday on Paramount+.

6. Kahanna Montrese

twitter.com

“She's giving us a SHOW, girl! 🔥 @Kahannamontrese is ready to roll the dice on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 🎲✨”

For two consecutive weeks now, Kahanna Montrese got very close to being sent home. In episode five, all of the queens had picked her lipstick – but no was eliminated following Heidi N Closet’s decision to quit the show. In episode six, Montrese landed in the bottom again, but a weak Rusical performance from Jaymes Mansfield allowed the season 11 star to stay in the game. Looking ahead, though, things aren’t looking all that great for Montrese.

5. Alexis Michelle

twitter.com

“She's a good girl! 😌🎤 @AlexisLives returns on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! ⭐️”

It felt like a given that Alexis Michelle would earn herself a “high” placement after that Rusical performance and runway look in episode six… but let’s just say that Jan’s drag mother got Jan-ed by the judges this week. Michelle has been doing well on All Stars 8, but she is definitely still struggling to get the judges to give her a maxi challenge win. After seeing how Mansfield got eliminated, this could be bad news for Michelle in the near future.

4. LaLa Ri

twitter.com

“Living her congenial fantasy! 🤩 Get into the @MissLaLaRi experience when #AllStars8 starts streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! ✨”

LaLa Ri has been doing a solid job on All Stars 8 now, with three “high” placements and not landing in the bottom at all. Her social game with the other queens has also been stellar, with Ri being in multiple alliances and not getting directly targeted by anyone in the competition. With that said, she desperately needs to win a maxi challenge very soon to secure her spot in the game and add some points to her overall track record.

3. Jessica Wild

twitter.com

“¡Escandalo! 💥 @JessicaWild88 is bringing the heat to #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 👠”

On a season where everyone is caught up in some kind of drama or strategic game, Jessica Wild appears to be in a competition of her own. Though she has only won one maxi challenge and did land in the bottom following the Snatch Game, the overall impression is that Wild is doing an amazing job on All Stars 8 and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Anything can happen, of course, but the general consensus after these first six episodes is that Wild is getting a lot of praise from the judges and isn’t being targeted by anyone in the competition.

2. Kandy Muse

twitter.com

“From the hood to Hollywood! ⭐️ @TheKandyMuse is BACK when #AllStars8 starts streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💅”

Kandy Muse finally won a maxi challenge on All Stars 8 after her performance in the Rusical. She had been mostly flying under the radar all season long, but she’s now had a breakthrough that might lead into other challenge wins and a stronger track record. On the other hand, the drama involving Heidi N Closet did place a lot of questions in the queens’ minds when it comes to how Muse is playing the game… so we shall see if that will have a negative impact on her journey moving forward.

1. Jimbo

twitter.com

“Oh wow! It's @jimbodragclown's special day! 🗣️ Don't miss her on #AllStars8 – streaming MAY 12 on @paramountplus! 💓”

With three maxi challenge wins, Jimbo is the undisputed frontrunner of All Stars 8. This season still has queens who haven’t even won a single maxi challenge yet. Everyone else has won a maxi challenge, but are still two challenges behind the Canada’s Drag Race alum. Even though Jimbo can sometimes be a polarizing character within the Drag Race fandom, there’s no denying that she is currently the one to beat on All Stars 8.
