Drake and Future Used a Stock Image for Their 'What a Time to Be Alive' Mixtape Cover

Drake and Future finally confirmed and then revealed the cover for their joint mixtape, What a Time to Be Alive, which drops tomorrow, Sept. 20. The cover is a photo of a cluster of diamonds, which some people have compared to Jay Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne album cover. So what's the story behind the image Drake and Future used?

After some digging, we found the same image on Diamond Blend's blog (Diamond Blend is a luxury anti-ageing beauty brand). Then, much like Future's Dirty Sprite 2 album cover, found the exact photo on Shutterstock after seeing the image URL. The photo is owned by Christina Tisi-Kramer, a photographer based in NYC who specializes in shooting jewelry, cosmetics, accessories, fragrance, and landscaped. She currently teaches photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. We've reached out to her for more details.
