Drake Maye drains game-winner overseas

Former UNC basketball standout Luke Maye knows a thing or two about hitting game-winning shots.

The forward sent the Tar Heels to the Final Four in 2017 after hitting a game-winner against Kentucky. From there, UNC moved on with a win over Oregon and finished off the redemption campaign by beating Gonzaga to win it all.

Now, a few years later he’s hitting a game-winner overseas in his season debut.

Maye hit the game-winning shot for Coviran Granada to help his team win their opener in Liga ACB over in Spain. Check out Maye’s shot on Thursday below as he delivers a win:

Maye has played overseas since 2020, joining Italian team Dolomiti Energia Trento and then Baxi Manresa of Liga ACB. He signed with Coviran Granada this past Summer and is teammates with Marcus Paige.
