Die-hard Drake fans who have been anticipating the release of his next album got a pleasant surprise on Super Bowl Sunday when the hip-hop superstar appeared in a State Farm commercial.

For its very first Super Bowl spot, the insurer known for its red-branded uniforms brought out the big guns with NFL superstars Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes joining actors Paul Rudd and Adrian Martinez to trade jabs about being each others’ on-air replacements.

After the football stars scoff at their lousy fill-ins, the Bloomington, Illinois-based company’s official spokesperson, named Jake and portrayed by actor Kevin Miles, quips about Drake serving as his second-stringer.

And what do you know, the “God’s Plan” rapper shows up decked out in a red State Farm polo, comically attempting to mimic Jake’s famous jingle while at the craft services area.

After stumbling with his lines, the real State Farm pitchman takes over.

The minor acting gig comes naturally to the multiple Grammy Award winning chart-topper, who previously starred in the Canadian teen drama series “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

And appearing in commercials for major brands is nothing new either for Drake.

In 2016, the Toronto native – whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham – starred in a T-Mobile commercial where he promoted his hit song “Hotline Bling.”

After several delays, Drake is currently putting the finishing touches to his sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.”
