Dramatic Satellite Imagery Captures Dust Storm Blowing Across Northeastern Colorado
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on December 6 released timelapse satellite imagery of a massive dust storm that moved through northeastern Colorado into northwestern Kansas on December 2.
The National Weather Service reported that wind gusts up to 75 mph (120 km/h) blew “dust plumes” across the area.
