The clouds, fog, drizzle and cool air stick around at least another day. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we’ll be mostly cloudy with temperatures only in the upper 60s.

A few isolated showers will develop late this evening and rain could linger into the morning rush on Wednesday, which is also a busy pre-Thanksgiving travel day. Some sunshine should return by late afternoon and temperatures will reach 70 degrees.

Thanksgiving Day will be partly sunny with only an isolated shower possible. Highs will be in the lower 70s, which is the average for late November.

Then we hit a warming trend for the long weekend. Friday is looking partly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 70s and a few showers possible.

Saturday will be even warmer, in the low 80s, with partly sunny conditions and only a possible brief shower.

Cooler temperatures return but not until next week.
