Drew Lowder leads Lansing Community College men's basketball in rout of Kalamazoo Valley

Drew Lowder’s big night helped the Lansing Community College men’s basketball roll to a conference road win.

Lowder had a game-high 34 points and added six assists, five rebounds and four steals for the Stars in their 110-65 victory over Kalamazoo on Wednesday.

Lowder knocked down 13 of 20 shots and made 5 of 9 3-pointers, leading five players in double figures for LCC (13-5, 5-2).

Potterville grad Cole Krause added 24 points on 11 of 14 shooting and added eight rebounds to help the Stars win their second straight. Sexton graduate Zhervonte Smith and Tyshan Kelley each added 13 points for LCC, which shot 59.2% from the field.

Webberville grad Dawson Lott had 11 points for the Stars, while Williamston’s Sean Cobb had nine points and 12 rebounds.

Kobe Clark and Jaxsen Callaway had 13 points to lead KVCC.
