Drive-in Halloween movies to fill October nights at farms in Yardley and Morrisville

Whether you prefer your Halloween-season movies to feature Freddy Krueger stalking kids on Elm Street with his signature talons, or instead opt for light-hearted ghost-busting going down in New York City, the upcoming "Haunted Halloween Drive-in Movie Experience" will offer plenty of scares.

Charlann Farms in Yardley and Snipes Farms in Morrisville will both offer a full lineup of classic scary and spooky films during the monthlong run. All tickets must be purchased in advance and movies start after the sun goes down.

Here is the "Haunted Halloween Drive In Movie Experience" schedule for both venues and how to get tickets.

Classic horror films at Charlann Farms

Charlann Farms, at 586 Stony Hill Road in Yardley, will have a run of 18 screenings, beginning with the Thursday, Oct. 5 screening of 1996's cult favorite, "Scream."

Gates open at 6 p.m. for screenings at Charlann Farms. Vehicles passes are $50.

Snipes Farms, at 890 W. Bridge St. in Morrisville, will have 28 showings, beginning with the 2013 hacker flick, "Texas Chainsaw" screening on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
