Drive-in movies are back: Here's what's playing this weekend
Wishy-washy springtime weather may be in the forecast this weekend, but at least we can pretend that summer is near with the return of drive-in movie theaters. Hamilton's Holiday Auto Theatre kicks off its 2022 season with two flicks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the Starlite Drive-In in Amelia is already in full swing and brings new movies this Friday and Saturday night.

Holiday Auto Theatre
The Holiday Auto Theatre (1816 Old Oxford Road / Ohio 130, Hamilton) is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and gates open at 6:45 p.m. Adult tickets are $9.75, tickets for kids ages 4 to 11 cost $5.75 and children under 3 can enter for free. Refreshments are available on-site, or you can bring in your own outside food with a food permit, which is $5 per car or group. With the permit, you also get a discount on refreshments.

Starlite Drive-In
Starlite Drive-In in Amelia (2255 Ohio 125) hosts movies on Friday and Saturday nights. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and adult tickets are $9 each. Kids ages 4 to 11 can get in for $5 and children 3 and under may enter for free. There are also discounts for seniors and active military members/first responders.
To bring in outside food and drinks, you'll need to purchase a food permit, which is $8 per group and includes a $1 discount on select food items at the venue.
