New drive-thru coffee kiosk opens in Lexington’s south side, near latest shopping center

There’s a new coffee option in town, one that’s likely to be popular with commuters.

Arkansas-based chain 7 Brew opened its first Central Kentucky location on May 22 at 4265 Harrodsburg Rd., near Chick-fil-A outside of Man o’ War Boulevard. A grand opening is planned for June 3, when customers will get a free T-shirt with the purchase of a large drink.

A second 7 Brew location is planned for Richmond Road: The old O’Charley’s building at 2895 Richmond Rd. was demolished in March to make way for a 7 Brew drive-thru and a Slim Chickens restaurant. (Lexington’s first Slim Chickens is expected to open on Waller soon.)

The drive-thru kiosks are known for quick and friendly service as well as quality products, according to fans.

The south side area of Lexington is bustling with new construction. The 510-foot building is just down the road from the Fountains at Palomar, a new shopping center coming to the intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Man o’ War that will soon have the area’s first Publix location.

And local restaurant Bella Cafe & Grille is building a second location in the area as well.

7 Brew coffee menu

According to the 7 Brew menu, the growing chain offers a variety of iced and hot coffee beverages, from the fan-favorite Blondie to the Triple 7, which features white chocolate and Irish cream and six shots of espresso.

They also serve a selection of chillers, shakes, teas, smoothies, infused sparkling waters and energy drinks. And there’s a kids’ menu too. Seasonal beverage options are also available each month, and 7 Brew fans can get these beloved drinks year-round by ordering from the ‘secret drink’ menu.
