Drive-thru-only Starbucks planned for Hesperia

The High Desert may be getting another Starbucks, a drive-thru-only version of the famous coffee shop in Hesperia.

The proposed Starbucks is slated for construction in the parking lot of the Stater Bros. shopping center on the northwest corner of Main Street and Maple Avenue, just south of Hesperia High School, a staff report said.

On Wednesday, the city’s development review committee discussed the proposed 1,275-square-foot Starbucks on nearly .50 acres.

The new Starbucks would be among several other businesses near Stater Bros., including McDonald’s, El Pollo Loco, Taco My Hacienda, AutoZone, Kahoots Feed and Pet store, and more.

The proposed coffee shop would be the sixth Starbucks location in Hesperia and the 19th in the Victor Valley. There are two locations in Barstow.
