Despite a snowstorm causing nearly 900 car accidents across Missouri over the weekend, two women appeared to throw caution to the wind and twerk on top of a moving SUV in St. Louis.

As a driver in a white Suburban made its way down I-64, which passes beneath the St. Louis Science Center’s pedestrian bridge, the vehicle’s passengers were captured on video dancing on top of the moving vehicle on Monday.

Jackie Friedhoff, a Washington University employee, initially shared one video of the now-viral footage, writing “Leaving work today & see this……No comment.”

In the video, two women are seen with their hands on the hood of the car and their behinds in the air as a third leans out a passenger side window to film.

The women broke a number of city ordinances with their dangerous actions, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

St. Louis City ordinance, 17.16.280 prohibits riding on the exterior of a motor vehicle. On top of that, as the front passenger appeared to ride out the window in an effort to film the two women twerking on top, they broke city ordinance 17.84.020(A), for failing to wear a seatbelt. The driver also failed to maintain the highway’s minimum speed (city ordinance 17.10.060) during the time the women were on the car roof.

It is not clear whether law enforcement officials plan to track down the women in the video, St. Louis news station KSDK reported.

“They could fall off of the car and cause other drivers to wreck. It’s a dangerous situation for themselves and other drivers,” a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department told KSDK. “They could fall off and create a fatal accident. We do not encourage anyone to try anything like this ever. You are supposed to be in your car when you drive.”
