Driver in critical condition after Porter rollover crash
Oct. 28—A 35-year-old man was listed in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Porter Center Road early Saturday morning.
Niagara County sheriff's officials report that the dispatch center received several 911 calls reporting the crash about 12:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Porter Center Road.
Deputies arriving at the scene reported a rollover crash with a man ejected. The man was about 20 feet from the vehicle, unresponsive with snoring resperations.
Members of the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. treated the man at the scene and prepped him for transfer to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight.
Deputies said an initial investigation showed that the vehicle was south on Porter Center Road when it left the roadway and overturned several times before coming to rest in a field. An investigation is continuing.
