Driver faces non-life-threatening injuries after rollover

Nov. 3—SPRINGFIELD — A 34-year-old Pierz driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries Friday in a rollover accident near Cobden, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Eloy Raul Fernandez Rios was driving a Honda Accord westbound on U.S. Highway 14 between Sleepy Eye and Springfield.

He was at the intersection of Highway 14 and 320th Avenue in Prairieville Township in Brown County when he entered the north ditch and rolled over.

Rios was the only person involved in the accident, which happened at around 7:40 Friday morning, and he was wearing a seatbelt.

Rios is being treated at Sleepy Eye Medical Center.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the incident.
