Aug. 17—EAST WINDSOR — The individual who died in a fiery crash on Interstate 91 late Sunday has been identified as Owen Contreras, 19, of North Granby.

Firefighters responded to the crash involving a car and tractor-tractor just before midnight Sunday. When they arrived on the scene, both the trailer and car were engulfed in flames.

According to state police, the vehicles collided in the right lane traveling southbound on I-91. Both vehicles came to an uncontrolled stop around the off-ramp of Exit 44.
