Driver seriously injured in single-vehicle rollover crash in Weston

One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Weston early Sunday morning.

According to Weston fire, a little before 5 a.m., crews responded to a motor-vehicle rollover down an embankment with possible entrapment on 128 South near Route 30. Shortly after Massachusetts State Police were called to the scene as well.

Upon arrival, crews located a single vehicle down an embankment on its roof and confirmed that the driver was trapped.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle in less than 10 minutes and carried back up the embankment and transported to a Boston Trauma Center with critical injuries, according to Weston Fire.

The condition of the driver is unknown.
