Drivers uninjured in semi vs. pickup crash near Danube, Minnesota

Sep. 12—DANUBE

— The drivers were uninjured in a crash involving a semitractor and a pickup truck Monday at a rural Renville County intersection.

A preliminary crash investigation showed that a 2015 Freightliner, driven by 44-year-old Aaron Hockert of Rice, Minnesota, was traveling north on County Road 1 while a Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by 45-year-old Chadron McLaughlin of Elko New Market, Minnesota, was driving westbound on County Road 11, according to a news release from the

Renville County Sheriff's Office.

McLaughlin did not yield to the semi, causing the collision, according to the news release. The crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection in Winfield Township, about three miles north of Danube.
