Drone Footage Captures Winter Storm in Vermont

A winter storm blanketed St. Albans, Vermont, as the region continued to cope with severe weather on January 20.

As seen in this drone video, captured by Armand Messier, a severe snowstorm pelts down on the city causing low visibility and dangerous driving conditions.

The National Weather Service issued a warning for “dangerously cold wind chills” in the Vermont area, with the potential to cause “frostbite and hypothermia.”

The Weather Channel reported that the snowstorm caused significant train and flight delays in Vermont.

The storm was responsible for a number of deaths in the northeast of the country, while hazardous roads caused car crashes and power outages that affected hundreds.
