Drone Footage Shows New British Normandy Memorial

Drone footage shows the scale of a new memorial that was formally opened in Normandy, France, on June 6, the 77th anniversary of D-Day.

The British Normandy Memorial “bears the names of 22,442 individuals: British personnel and those of other nationalities who were serving in British units, who died while taking part in D-Day and the Battle of Normandy,” according to its website.
