Drones lights up sky for Candy Crush anniversary

STORY: Hundreds of drones used the New York skyline as an advertising billboard on Thursday evening (November 3), as the team behind "Candy Crush" celebrated the smartphone game's 10th anniversary.

The drones were sent up from New Jersey and New Yorkers enjoyed them from vantage points in lower Manhattan.

"I think it feels like it's going to be like the new face of advertising, like the new medium of advertising," said Alexandra Della Penn, who watched the show.

"I loved it. It was so new. Technology is amazing and it's beautiful," said Alessandra Lucia.
