Dropkick Murphys to play NY State Fair 4th year in a row. See who else is in the lineup

The New York State Fair has announced seven upcoming performances in its Chevrolet Music Festival this summer.

Returning acts include Celtic-punk band Dropkick Murphys, vocal R&B group Boyz II Men, rap artist Nelly, rock band Night Ranger and country singer Jimmie Allen, according to a news release from the state fair.

Other performances include rapper and singer 24KGoldn, known for his single "Valentino," and the Art of Rap featuring Ice-T.

This will be the fourth performance in a row for the Dropkick Murphys, who played their first state fair at the fairgrounds in 2018.

"It's become a tradition, and a great one," fair Director Troy Waffner said in a statement. "It's a unique band with great fans, and I can’t wait to see them again."

Located just west of Syracuse in the town of Geddes, the New York State Fair will run from Wednesday, Aug. 24 to Monday, Sept. 5. All concerts in the Chevrolet-sponsored music series are free with fair admission.

The full lineup so far is:

  • Jimmie Allen: 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, Chevy Court stage

  • The Art of Rap feat. Ice-T: 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, Chevy Park stage

  • Dropkick Murphys: 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, Chevy Court stage

  • Boyz II Men: 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, Chevy Park stage

  • Nelly: 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, Chevy Park stage

  • 24KGoldn: 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, Chevy Park stage

  • Night Ranger: 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, Chevy Park stage
