Dropkick Murphys stopping in Evansville on 2024 tour
Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys announced they will make a stop in Evansville as part of their 2024 tour.
"The St. Patrick's Day Tour" will be an 18-stop trip that kicks off in Ontario, California on Valentine's Day. They will be performing at the Ford Center on Feb. 27.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. and start at $38.50, according to the release.
The group recently returned to performing following their critically acclaimed acoustic albums "This Machine Still Kills Fascists" and "Okemah Rising," both of which interpret the work of folk artist Woody Guthrie for new generations.
They will be joined by punk rock band Pennywise and Dublin-based band The Scratch.
