Drug investigation results in arrests of 11 in Runnels County

BALLINGER — The Runnels County Sheriff's Office on Thursday posted to Facebook that 11 arrests had been made to conclude a three-month narcotics investigation.

Other arrests could be made. The sheriff's office said there are outstanding warrants for other individuals in the investigation.

Sealed indictments earlier in December had been handed down and arrests made Wednesday by deputies, who worked with the Ballinger and Winters police departments and Precinct 1 Constable Wayne Poehls.

Arrested were:

► Gabriel Alfaro Jr. – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $20,000.

► Freddy Brown – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000.

► Shoni Ferguson – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000

► Mary Jones – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 28 grams. Bond set at $20,000.

► Tia Nicole Lopez – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram, and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 200 grams, less than 400 grams. Bond set at $10,000 for each charge.

► Michael Luna – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000.

► Fidencia Q. Martinez – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000.

► Daniel Sanchez – Two charges of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000 for each charge.

► Michael Liggins – Two charges of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000 for each charge.

► Shila Ann Drake – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000.

► Sergio Rangel – Manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram. Bond set at $10,000.
