Drug investigation results in three arrests on Shenandoah Drive

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A drug investigation by Lafayette police Special Ops and the Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force resulted in a search warrant on Wednesday, which then resulted in three arrests.

Police served the search warrant at a home in the 1300 block of Shenandoah Drive, seizing 407.61 grams of methamphetamine, .6 grams of fentanyl, 4.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, two hits of acid, $1,646 in cash, and four handguns. Police also found drug packaging materials and digital scales, according to Lafayette police.

According to police and jail records, the three who were arrested include:

  • Casandra Kay Baker, 32, of Silver Lake, Indiana, who was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail on suspicion of possession of meth, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. She is not listed as an inmate as of Thursday afternoon.

  • Cody Joseph Salleee, 24, Lebanon, who was booked on suspicion of dealing meth, possession of meth with a handgun enhancement, possession of a handgun with a prior felony conviction, and possession of marijuana. He remains incarcerated on Thursday afternoon.

  • Michelle Marie Smith, 47, of the 2600 block of Priest Drive, Lafayette, who was booked on suspicion of dealing meth, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. She is not listed as an inmate as of Thursday afternoon.
