DU to close a portion of Eight Avenue Northeast on Saturday

Feb. 17—A portion of Eighth Avenue Northeast will be closed Saturday while Decatur Utilities and AT&T crews replace a utility pole at the intersection of Eighth and Wilson Street.

The crew plans to start at 7 a.m. and finished at about 2 p.m. Crews from AT&T will also be present. Eighth Street will be closed to thru traffic between Market and Wilson streets during the replacement time.
