To celebrate baby Lilibet's first birthday this past Saturday, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, partied in style.

Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan threw a casual and intimate backyard picnic at Frogmore Cottage for their daughter's special day, complete with cake and face painting.

Close family friend and photographer Misan Harriman posted photos from the gathering on Twitter, including a black-and-white group photo of Meghan carrying Lili next to friends. In the snap, Meghan looks effortlessly stylish in a long-sleeved top tucked into a pair of wide-leg, pinstriped pants.

Other photos shared by Harriman include Lili's candid birthday portrait, in which the one-year-old poses in a pale blue dress while sitting in a grassy field at Frogmore Cottage, and photos of guests and their kids donning face paint.

A Sussex spokesperson confirmed to BAZAAR.com that Harry and Meghan are grateful for people across the globe donating $100k to the World Central Kitchen, a charity close to their heart, in honor of Lili's big day. WCK responds to humanitarian, climate, and community crises by providing meals to those in need. Most recently, the charity has operated in Uvalde, Texas in the aftermath of the elementary school shooting and in Ukraine after Russia launched a military invasion.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the United Kingdom last Wednesday, bringing along Lili and their three-year-old son Archie, for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. The couple made one official public appearance on Friday to attend the National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Cathedral, where they were joined by other royals including Prince William, Duchess Kate, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and more.
