Meghan Markle put her own personal spin on cocktail hour attire.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made their grand arrival at the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award in New York City, where Meghan wore a gorgeous off-the-shoulder midi dress in ivory white. The long-sleeved piece featured a Bardot neckline and a structured tulip skirt. She paired the look with glittering diamond drop earrings and black pumps.

At tonight's ceremony, the couple will accept an award for their charitable initiatives through Archewell, such as supporting Afghan refugees, partnering with the NAACP, championing worldwide access to vaccines, and advocating for families in need of paid parental leave.

"When The Duke and Duchess accepted our award laureate invitation back in March, we were thrilled. The couple has always stood out for their willingness to speak up and change the narrative on racial justice and mental health around the world," said Kerry Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, in a statement. "They embody the type of moral courage that my father once called the 'one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change.'"

The Ripple of Hope Awards recognizes "exemplary leaders across government, business, advocacy, and entertainment who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to social change and worked to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights," according to the foundation's website.

Tonight's other honorees include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Siris co-founder Frank Baker, Bank of American CEO Brian Moynihan, and Invenergy CEO Michael Polsky. The foundation will also posthumously award Bill Russell, the NBA legend who died this past summer.

Past recipients of the award include Stacey Abrams, Amanda Gorman, Colin Kaepernick, and President Barack Obama.
