On the hunt for a family-friendly show that you’ll enjoy just as much as your kids? Ace of Cakes’s Duff Goldman has just what you need—with some help from a few puppet friends!

Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time is a brand-new food show that sounds like pure joy, from its whimsical name all the way to an oven that's actually a dragon!

Anyone who watched Duff as he and his team churned out reality-bending cakes from Baltimore’s Charm City Cakes will want to check out his latest baking endeavor. The Kid’s Baking Championship host will team up with a crew of puppets to explore the science behind cooking and baking in a supremely imaginative way.

“I think cooking is absolutely fascinating and I wanted to make a show that explained why things happen the way they do in the kitchen. When I understand the science behind the food I make, I somehow feel more connected to it and I wanted to share that with everyone,” says Duff Goldman in a press release.

Duff’s puppet costars were actually made from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, as The Jim Henson Company is also producing the show. If you grew up watching The Muppets, you’ll love sharing this entertaining and informative show with your own kids. Knowing Duff, you’re sure to be treated to some seriously inventive creations!

What’s Duff's Happy Fun Bake Time about?

Each episode will follow Duff and his friends as they experiment with food and learn different science lessons. For instance, they’ll investigate how to bake a cake without eggs and what actually happens to your taste buds when you eat salty and sweet flavors at the same time.

In addition to the food element, there will also be fantastical components to captivate your kids’ imaginations. They'll battle a sea monster, befriend a robot, and even meet aliens!

Who will star in it?

Obviously Duff Goldman will be the host, but he has some adorable costars as well. You’ll meet his entire puppet team, including Couscous, Duff’s robot sidekick and sous chef, Edgar, a “crabby crab” from the Chesapeake Bay, and Dizzy, the industrial mixer with a nosy personality.

How can I watch it?

Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time will premiere exclusively on Discovery+ on April 29. As of now, there will be six half-hour episodes in total to enjoy.
