DUI checkpoint scheduled for July 30

Jul. 23—PRINCETON — The Princeton Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, July 30 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Stafford Drive, WV Rt. 104, in Princeton.

"The purpose of any sobriety checkpoint is to increase public awareness and to deter motorists from driving under the influence on our roadways," according to the department's announcement Thursday.
