Duke basketball's Mark Mitchell questionable to play against Tennessee

ORLANDO, Fla - Duke basketball’s Mark Mitchell is questionable to play against Tennessee in the second round of the NCAA Tournament due to a knee injury, according to CBS.

CBS reported that Mitchell, a starter for the Blue Devils, suffered a knee injury in practice at the Amway Center. The 6-foot-8 freshman has started all 35 games, averaging 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds.

Mitchell had eight points and seven rebounds in Duke’s 24-point win against Oral Roberts in the first round. Fellow freshman Dariq Whitehead replaced Mitchell in the starting lineup against Tennessee.

The Blue Devils (27-8), seeded fifth in the East Regional, and fourth-seeded Volunteers (24-10) are playing for a spot in the Sweet 16.
