The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared intimate behind the scenes photos to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The couple took to their Sussex Royal Instagram account to post a video montage showing a series of beautiful never-before-seen photos from their wedding day on 19th May last year.

As well as a sweet shot of Prince Harry with brother Prince William on the morning of the wedding, the video includes photos of Meghan with her mum Doria, and the newly weds with their young bridal party, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Along with the video, the caption says: "Happy one year anniversary to Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

Today marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at St George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19th, 2018. The selected song “This Little Light of Mine” was chosen by the couple for their recessional. We hope you enjoy reliving this moment, and seeing some behind the scenes photos from this special day."

The caption also includes a personal message from the Duke and Duchess, saying: "Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful."

It was in May last year that the world watched Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in Windsor with an incredible ceremony followed by two receptions with their closest family and friends.

Just five months later, the royal couple announced the happy news that they were expecting their first child. Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born on Monday 6th May, and was introduced to the world two days later.

During Archie's photocall, Meghan said that she was lucky to have the "two best guys in the world" and that motherhood was "magic" and "amazing."
