‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider’s studio took ‘direct hit’ from Hurricane Ida

A photo tweeted by publicist Brian Mayes shows a tree atop a General Lee vehicle on the John Schneider Studios property in Holden, Louisiana, while another tree appears to have collapsed onto the building.

The property took “a direct hit” from the storm, Mayes wrote.

“John & (wife) Alicia were here in Nashville organizing flood relief efforts for Middle TN, and are currently en route home,” Mayes wrote Monday. “Please pray, and feel free to support them at http://JohnSchneiderStudios.com.”

Schneider, 61, portrayed Bo Duke on “The Dukes of Hazzard” from 1979 to 1985.

“We are headed back and seem to be the only ones on the road,” Schneider tweeted, responding to Hayes’ post.

“I’m get (sic) a real look at the damage to mom’s house in the morning and then head back to TN to continue flood relief. All people and pups are good. May have a ‘Hurricane Sale at Miss Shirley’s!’ Soon!”

Hurricane Ida made landfall Sunday near Port Fourchon, Louisiana, with winds recorded at 150 miles per hour. The death toll from the storm now stands at six.
