Duluth police respond to shots fired in Central Hillside

Feb. 16—Duluth police officers responded to a report of shots fired shortly after 11:15 p.m. Monday night in the Central Hillside neighborhood.

Officers were told that a small silver car fled the scene at a high speed after the sound of shots, according to a news release from the Duluth Police Department. Police found shell casings on the 20 block of Village View Drive, but did not locate any suspects.

No injuries or damage to buildings were reported.

Police responded to a report of shots fired on the 20 block of Village View Drive in September, too. A 28-year-old man was injured with two gunshot wounds on Sept. 2.
