Duncanville pedestrian dies after being struck by car, Alabama troopers say
A pedestrian died Thursday night after he was hit by a car on U.S. 82 in Tuscaloosa County.
Alabama troopers said 21-year-old Samuel R. Ellis was struck by a 2022 Cadillac Escalade around 9:40 p.m. about 1 mile east of the city of Tuscaloosa.
Ellis was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information was made available.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are conducting an investigation.
