Dundee Village Manager finalists to be interviewed

Four individuals were selected out of a field of 41 applicants to be next Dundee Village Manager.

The four individuals will be interviewed during a special village council meeting on October 29. The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. with interviews scheduled as follows:

8 a.m. - Ted Andrzejewski

9 a.m. - Adam Kline

10 a.m. - Warren Brown

11 a.m. - Mike Hoffmeister

Candidates seeking election to the council will also join current council members for the interviews, and the public is also welcome to attend. The interviews will not be live streamed, but will be recorded and made available a few days after the meeting.

MEET THE CANDIDATES

Ted Andrzejewski

Andrzejewski worked as the village administrator in Cadiz, Ohio, until retiring 16 months ago. Prior to that, he worked as the city manager in Menominee, Michigan, and city manager in Canandaigua, New York. He also was the Mayor of Eastlake, Ohio, for 10 years. He previously served as the President of the Lake County Mayors and Managers Association in Ohio. A graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management, Andrzejewski also has an MBA from John Carroll University in Cleveland.

Adam Kline

Adam Kline has served as the Oakland Township Manager since 2019. Prior to that, he was the chief of police in Lansing Township and White Lake Township. Kline is a graduate of Central Michigan University, the FBI National Academy and Northwestern School of Staff and Command. He is also an accredited, certified public manager.

Warren Brown

Warren Brown has worked as the Director of the Sandusky County Juvenile Justice Center foralmost three years. Prior to that Warren was a Deputy Sheriff, Chief Probation Officer, acountywide elected official, and a County Administrator. In addition, he has been appointed as aHR Director and Township Manager. He is a graduate of Asbury College in Kentucky havingearned a B.A. in Education. His goal in any position to which he has been appointed or electedhas been to be certain that those who allow government to happen, (the taxpayers), are alwayspart of the equation.

Mike Hoffmeister

Mike Hoffmeister currently serves as the Residential Services Director for the Charter Townshipof Ypsilanti. Previously, Mike served as the Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation for the Cityof Noblesville, Indiana from 2014-2019 and as a Recreation Program Coordinator for the Townof Fishers, Indiana from 2009-2014. Mike is a graduate of Bowling Green State University (Ohio) with a Bachelor’s in Science in Sport Management. Mike currently serves on the Washtenaw Regional Resources Management Authority, as the mParks Foundation Board President, and multiple roles for the National Recreation & Parks Association CAPRA Accreditation team.
